‘Morning, all. Gotta rant.

One of my long-time Twitter follows is Hoarse Whisperer. I’ve followed him for years and largely enjoy his stuff. But yesterday he got into one of his hair-on-fire rants about how DOJ isn’t moving fast enough for him, all is lost, Dems are gonna lose the House. A valid rant to a point, but he took it to such an extreme that one of his followers replied that he should chill. Not insulting or anything, just ‘You should chill.’

That prompted him to go off on the commenter, going on about how his tweets get millions of reads per month and the commenter clearly shouldn’t come at someone with a widely-followed Twitter account.

This morning he’s still at it, going on about how people with small Twitter accounts shouldn’t go after people with big Twitter accounts (like him), because if they do they’ll deserve all the ridicule and abuse they get.

I’m on the verge of unfollowing the guy. Twitter turns people into assholes sometimes.
