I think she stated at one time that the recent year has caused her to go into deep debt — law suits and all. This is often why so many “celebritys” take the ghost-written book deal. It’s cash money. Advance and residuals.

Alaskan papers reported that the debt was the state’s not hers personally. She had lots of non-reason reasons why she left. Her goodbye speech left everyone scratching their heads. I’ve never seen a politician willfully resign their post like this.
