I think he made the album he wanted to make, probably influenced a lot by hitmaking producers he got to work with. But I don’t think the two songs I heard really showcase what he can do. They were those interchangeable, not very memorable songs, like you hear a million times done by other people. I see him more as that rare guy that could fill stadiums, like back in the glam rock or Queen days, and really run with it and become truly iconic. That style suits him to a T.
