What about the story of the woman who called her computer’s service technician and told him her computer quit working? He had her check all the buttons, plugs and ports then when she said she couldn’t see them because the power was out he told her that this was real bad and she was to pack up her computer and send it back. When she asked why he replied that she was evidently too stupid to own a computer.

I don’t know if that’s a true story but some people I know, a few ex-coworkers of mine, would be advised to do the same.

There are tons of stories like that. “Sir, is your computer running under Windows?” “No, its on my desk.” or “How do you work the foot pedal (mouse)?
