I just got back from the grocery store.

I admit that some granola bars are better than others, but as snacks go, they’re worlds above most of what’s out there.

Exhibit 1: The cookie aisle

Exhibit 5: The deli department (Hey kids, let’s get some jo jo’s!)

Exhibit 6: 80% of the frozen food aisle

I find it ironic that they’re calling trail mix unhealthy when as many American kids eat fast food as often as they do. It’s like arguing about whether kids should exercise nine hours a week or nine and a half hours a week when most kids exercise one.
