on a serious note..There is a great controversy about the team name the Redskins. Both sides have dug in with their arguments.
you know it’s 2013 and we as a Nation after the Civil war and 10’s of thousands dead.. The Civil rights movement and the horrible stories told from books and TV and friends growing up.
We, as a Nation have gone so far..But in baby steps..I’m sad for us but hopeful looking to the future.
To our rightwing friends, My question is this…
If the Washington football team was named the ‘The Washington Blackskins’, Would that be Ok with you?
Let’s stop the fucking games and be grown up about the 21st Century..
Please.. Rename the team and be American Heros cause in the least of all issues..Make Washington DC be a proud place for all us Americans..
You..You..Of all places..Lead us out of this.. You..DC.. Do us right..
