I’m really sick of conservative politicians that think the solution to everything (especially their failed policies) is go into combat somewhere.

The last thing I want to do is welcome more people into the club I’m in that no one wants to be part of (Gold Star Families), and this Syria nonsense all but guarantees that.

Moreover, since Russia’s troops are in Syria by that government’s invitation, what happens if our own troops wind up in a firefight with them? Gaaa.

There will be an “unfortunate friendly fire incident”.
