Honestly it just pisses me off. Republicans repeatedly talk about firearms being used against the government when it gets tyrannical. Okay, so then, Hopkinson determined that the government acted tyrannical and took it to the next conclusion. I certainly do NOT condone what he did and it was horrible but it has consistently been Republicans that have promoted guns as a solution to a “tyrannical government.” And I’m tired of the crocodile tears from conservatives who told us that our feelings didn’t matter because we thought a presidential candidate who talked the way Trump did had no business in office.

From a sufficiently cold-blooded point of view, the Scalise shooting is a perfect domestic example of blowback.
