The first county in Nebraska has completely transitioned to all-mail voting, eliminating polling stations. Garden County (about fifteen miles east of me) implemented a pilot programme in the next town east (Lisco, population 64) to see how it would work.
Garden County (population 2,000) has now eliminated all polling stations for today’s primary election.
Mail voting was implemented by Nebraska some time ago, but polling stations were not entirely eliminated. It was intended for primarily rural counties like Garden and my own. (My county still uses polling stations in the two largest towns.)
