Otoh, pretenders and wannabes who don’t really understand Rolls-Royce history would pretend holy horror at this:

In fact, there is a distinguished history of Rolls-Royces with pickup and other utility bodies. Many of the original Silver Ghosts survived long enough to be preserved because their overall characteristics were well suited to the towing business and they were duly converted into tow trucks. During World War I, the famous Rolls-Royce armored cars used by T.E. Lawrence and others required support vehicles with equal endurance and reliability. Rolls-Royce tenders, basically utility trucks, were the solution. This included both open (pickup) and closed (panel truck) version. There were also Rolls-Royce ambulances.
