Steve Schmidt on Nicole Wallace just revealed the McCain campaign was worried about Sarah Palin being fit for Vice President as they learned more about her during the campaign.

They were working on plans to see how they could stop her from making the swearing-in ceremony had they won.

They backed off when in September of 2008 the economy took the big dump and as Schmidt said…they were done more or less a shot to the head.

Nicole added they were worried about Sarah as she was anguished when she was not in public and Nicole said they were worried about what they were putting her through and she was not handling it.

Jesus, they should have just let him have Lieberman as his running mate like he wanted.
