Sometimes a producer might not even be on set very much if it all. Think of a company owner with multiple stores in an area who might only spend one day a week in any specific store. He has managers and assistant managers and team leads to handle the meat and potatoes of the day-to-day for each store.

Certainly the other eleven don’t seem to have been there the day the shot was fired.
