A little telling isn’t it. “I’m a serious person”. How many pretty women have had to say that thru-out history. One shouldn’t have to say it in 2011. Hillary or Condi certainly don’t need to. Many, many other accomplished women wouldn’t think of saying it.

Heck, Nikki Haley didn’t say it, and she’s in the same boat as Palin/Bachmann.

As authors say, show, don’t tell.
