The Republican plan will end medicare as we know it.

If you stop making Medicare a government system and instead hand out X amount of dollars and tell people to go buy insurance that ends medicare as we know it, it changes it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Passing the buck down the line to us who aren’t currently on the medicare system is just shameless pandering and trying to avoid having anybody realize just what a sucky system it would be.
