Is it really so difficult to understand that forced anything is problematic? For example, forcing NFL football players to stand for the National Anthem as a fake show of patriotism is weird (and probably unconstitutional given our First Amendment rights). It’s the same with forcing women to cover their heads. It’s not the hijab which is the issue. It’s the issue of force.

Conservatives seem to have a hard time understanding the concept of consent.
