Us veterans will have to do a better job of stopping the military worship. We have to argue, from a position of authority, that we don’t have that position, and people need to stop accepting it.

What do you humbly propose? I have no problem thanking Vets but I don’t think being a vet necessarily makes one a good person. Good and bad people serve just like there are that in law, academia, business, etc.
