Did you catch the videos I’ve linked here, of Nick Zentner at CWU, as he describes the geology of the Northwest?
He’s very good at communicating complex topics to the lay crowd.
Anyway, I thought that subsidence and downfaulting is also a problem along the entire eastern side of the Sierra Nevada.
