Basically, Trump hires are the worst of the worst, ethically compromised, and incompetent. They have no future in politics-or probably even in the think tank world, dominated by Bushies and their allies. Bushes don’t forget how Trump has dissed them and their family, trashed whatever reputation America had, and made Republicanism toxic for a generation. So much for cozy do-nothing jobs in the think tank sector. The Trumpies know it, which is why they are stealing from the re-election fund to feather their nests and have something for later.
That’s why they are drawing money from the re-election fund for condos and luxury goods, spending more time trying to sell Trump tschotkes than trying to make an affirmative case for Trump’s re-election (before the pandemic, there was a weak case).
