Naaah, they’ll just dismiss this intel as a “Trump enemy statement”, and keep right on trying gin up some sort or other of “scandal” right up until Election Day.

And as long as they keep the points simple[minded] - i.e. ceaselessly and loudly jabber buzzwords like “Biden!” “Corruption!” and “Obama!”, our “balanced” (i.e., bothesiderist) media won’t let it go.

Until Election Day, of course…..

Perhaps I should have gone with “It’s beginning to look a lot like Fitzmas” instead. The whole supposed purpose of this email being declassified was that it would implicate Obama in a “conspiracy” to get Trump through going after Flynn. Instead, it shows that Obama insisted the DOJ and intel community approach the case “by the book,” which is stunningly refreshing in light of the current effort by Trump’s cronies to make a case for unspecified “crimes” against Obama.
