The Roberts Court has repeatedly stripped voting rights from many Americans and the response among most was a total lack of interest. If it doesn’t affect them personally, most Americans don’t care.

In fact, 16% more young people voted in 2020 than did in 2016 — voting by white people increased overall as well. Young black people’s voting plummeted after 2008, but started up again after 2016 (voting by black people overall dropped, but not as much and also increased after 2016). Let’s hope the trend continues. And accelerates.
