As well as appropriating funds for the Federal government, the appropriations act gathers them for the DoC as well.

That was part of the last budget passed so basically it’s the current law. Am I missing something?

That’d they Hyde amendment, basically. They’re trying to expand it from federal expenditures to include no expenditures for DC abortions, either. It’s a petty, petty little move— very typical of the GOP these days.
