I blunt talk, it means the Tanks is now a scrap heap spread over a square kilometer.

More often they’re in a few smaller pieces, often with the turret some distance away from what’s left of the chassis. The T-72’s ammunition storage below the turret floor makes it very vulnerable being hit by missiles or tank gunfire. When its ammo is hit, the explosions that follow sometime blow the turret of the tank clear off.
