I expect Trump is going to make some moves on things like student debt or non-moves on things like abortion that will make him popular with a wider circle of the populace. On the other hand, he will nominate SCOTUS judges who will overturn much of the progress we have made in social issues over the past fifty years.

It will take years for the extent of the damage he inflicts to manifest itself or become clear to us.
