re: #163 Hecuba’s daughter
When talking to a friend tonight, I explained how much the death of someone I never met in person has affected me. It was hard to maintain my composure because, although I only knew her from her posts here, she was someone whose words touched me and I admired her greatly.
May she rest in peace and her memory be a blessing to all who know her.
Perfectly understandable. I regularly listen to the Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe podcast. When one of their hosts passed away a few years back, it hit me harder then I realized.
For all of the human garbage that has been enabled by the internet these last 20-odd years, this medium enables people we meet virtually to uplift and enrich our lives, despite never meeting them in the real world.
She’ll be missed.
