I notice the wingnut arguments in Ingraham’s “defense” keep boiling down to one of two lines: either “She made a childish mistake and Hogg should be the adult and accept her ‘apology’” or “Hogg’s the real bully and he’s showing it by not just accepting her ‘apology’!”
It’s schoolyard logic: An “apology” should always be accepted, no matter how insincere, and the whole matter immediately dropped. David’s right, that a bully doesn’t learn anything when constantly let off the hook with a slap on the wrist.
