Sunday afternoon and life is slow and easy…

When I was little, I remember watching (on b&w TV) Disney and the early Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. That was the late afternoon/early evenings of Sundays for me.

it was half-an-hour of Wild Kingdom, followed at 8 by Disney. Normally, there was a Volare commercial in there, sung I’m guessing by Perry Como, then fireworks going off around the magic kingdom. Kind of cool, actually, at least if you were around 7 at the time.
