re: #128 Dr Lizardo

So far, the only one DC has really gotten right was Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman (though for me, the ending of that was a bit over-the-top, but overall a DC film done right, well-written, well-directed and perfectly cast).

The Dark knight series was pretty good. I thought Wonder Woman was pretty over rated. It was an ok movie for DC but DC has set the bar so low for that it doesn’t say much. Ares was such a boring villain, the whole movie was dark and not in a good gritty batman sort of way, but just sort of grey. A lot of the action was quite good, but the final boss fight scene was bad.

Jaoquin Phoenix is fantastic, but the problem I had watching the trailer was that it looked like a great twisted character, but not really the Joker to me.
