re: #164 Love-Child of Cassandra and Sisyphus
As y’all may know, I live in San Diego county. At least in my neighborhood, nary a political sign. Walking around I have seen a couple of signs for people running for local office.
But no signs for any federal office.
Is there an “enthusiasm” problem? Maybe, but I can’t tell. Sure, there have been a lot of mail ballots collected already.
I’m finding this election hard to gauge on the ground.
I really don’t know what is going to happen on Tuesday.
Odd times in which I have found myself living.
Thought: the “gamer” generation has already changed the fields of entertainment, probably also of news. I’m wondering if the lack of old-style campaign signs is yet another indication that there truly is a turnover in cultre?
I’ve not seen many signs in Long Beach. But in Anaheim/Yorba Linda where I work (and the family lives) I’ve seen a lot at intersections. Mostly local offices though, a few congressional (Cisneros vs Kim mostly)
