Because the ERA tragically wasn’t ratified, we could easily return to the days of when women basically had the legal status of a child in the custody of her husband. In Dobbs the Court essentially ruled that women have few constitutional rights that a man is bound to respect.

while somewhat true, it will be different now because things are far more intricate and not just because they have credit cards

there are far more ‘independent’ women of all ages
they dont all live under a hubby’s watchful eye or at home under daddy’s

they have jobs
bank accounts
they own property
some of them are quite powerful and rich

otoh, is anything possible with this bag of nutbars?
