Most fun? I had a woman who played a thief who’s alignment changed daily based on the moon. Full moon she was pure CN. New Moon she was LN. Deep swings into good or evil based on a coin she flipped first thing every morning.

Kept our Paladin _really_ confused. She came up true N on all alignment magic. :)

The secret to getting around Detect Evil is making sure the Paladin only thinks to use it when something much, much worse is around.
