Pretty much. Have to get some sort of “win” out of all this, since they failed to shout down the demands for the flag to be removed and they’ve totally lost the argument that the flag is anything but a symbol of slavery and racism. So now they’re trying to convince anybody who will listen that this is a really a “win” for Republicans, when it was Republicans who had to be drug kicking and screaming to this point.
