Maybe, but I think a simpler explanation is that while her age and experience were perfect for exploiting fear of Republicans in control of everything and the risk to healthcare and social security that presented in the 2018 midterms, she’s too out of touch about the risks and rewards of impeachment: she thinks it would torch the gains of 2018 while there are many good arguments about why the opposite is true.
