OT: I was just watching a White Stripes video and appreciating how good Meg White is as a drummer and got really really fucking pissed off that Karen Carpenter was never allowed to be the great drummer that she was. They should have fucking miked her kit not made her stand out front and feel embarrassed. Had she been allowed to sing from the kit, would she still be with us? I don’t know. But I’d bet it is more likely than not.
