In doing some research, it appears that there’s another vaccine, a smallpox vaccine, that has been known to cause myopericarditis in people. So it would not necessarily be the first time it happened. It might also not be something that’s overly concerning; it’s noted that the incidence rate is per million doses administered, and those are relatively low numbers per million, all things considered.
