Huntsman has no hope. Ever since his love letters to Obama, he has been cast as too moderate. He’d have to be the pandiest panderer to pander.

All the more reason for Huntsman to sit this election out. There are too many crazy people on the right demanding all sorts of crazy fealty to crazy positions because they think McCain lost by not being conservative enough.
