As I’ve mentioned before, my project this year is working on genealogy… so I’m going through US census records tracking down one g-g-grandfather, about whom I know quite a bit, and realize how fortunate we are to live in a country that was willing to actually take records of its citizens.

That’s great. All my grandparents are from Europe and its been tough to find much information, especially Denmark.
