Nope. A cheese bread loaf purchased from a Wegman’s. It’s fairly squishy, but has cheese in it. (Some also have sliced hot peppers included with the cheese.) I prefer toasting it personally to stiffen it up a little bit when eating it with stew.

The loaf in the other picture is an “old fashioned round” from Metropolitan Bakery in Philadelphia. One reason I have not bothered with messing with a bread machine and such is that a 4-5 block walk can get me a loaf or baguette from a professional bakery.

Drat! Both of them look & sound delicious. I’m sooooo jealous that you live that close to a bakery.
