I’m more center left than I once was but I’ve become more and more staunchly pro-choice because it really is none of my fucking business what a woman does with her body. Choice is legal and constitutional.

I approach it more from humanitarian reasons - which is somewhat paradoxical with my wingnut background, I know. But I’ve come around to the argument that it is imbecilic to hold the life of an unborn fetus sacred and ignore the value of the life of the mother altogether. While I still don’t necessarily hold with fully voluntary abortions, I am completely on board with abortions out of medical necessity, and still contemplating on the idea of voluntary abortions for mothers who would be unfit for motherhood due to their life circumstances.
