I always point out to the libertarians and lefty types I know that their party or ideology never runs anyone for Lt Governor or AG here in Virginia. They want the high profile spots. That’s not how you fucking build a party. I will say even though they’re anathema to what I believe on economics, the Libertarians do seem to run more candidates for more offices than the Greens though. The Greens always seem to creep up when there’s a contested seat.

The Libertarians run for offices up and down the ballot here in Nebraska. While they don’t run for every last seat available, neither did the Democrats (until the last election).

The Libertarian senator over on the other side of the state was reëlected.
