Remember, if the elections are suspended or postponed, Trump’s term in office still ends in January 2021, as does Mike Pence’s…if there is no elected candidate, then the Rules of Succession apply, at which point the Speaker of the House assumes the Presidency.

If there are no elections, there also would be no House of Representatives, which means it would devolve to the Senate, which by virtue of there being no elections would be a Democratic majority due to all the Republicans leaving office. Which until early January 2021 would be Chuck Grassley. After that… who knows, Chuck Schumer?
