Dems can always fall back on Hilary and I’m sure they can dig up another viable candidate or two. I don’t think anyone from the last GOP primary circus will return to try again. They’re going to need a whole new field.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this has literally never happened.

It’ll be Santorum, because it’s his turn and that’s how this works.
