THen the people in China (or wherever) would have no job and fewer people would have apple products.

Each culture has to evolve at their own pace. I don’t like it, but that seems to be the way lasting change happens.

Then expect more Detroits.

There is a plus side of course. I think that a lot of this Chinese manufacturing has contributed to global peace and was part of the demise of the Cold War. It also provides jobs for a lot of third world people.
