Each of the counts is accompanied by a 2 years sentence (apparently served consecutively). That still leaves the remaining serious counts to be addressed in the Court Martial that is scheduled for June. Not out of the woods by any stretch. He’s still facing life in prison on the remaining counts.
He plead guilty. Which means he’s officially admitting to wrong doing. I doubt his cult followers will admit to that and continue to cry out his innocence. Pleading guilty will have a strong impact on the outcome. Facing one judge also allows him to develop a relationship with said person over a period of time. Military judges aren’t monsters as some might suggest.
