re: #170 Wendell Zurkowitz ((slave to the waffle light))
We have reached that point.
Which is why I no longer post anything political or even comment on such posts on FB. If I want a political rant, I come here or go to other political blog sites.
I reached that point when Nixon was headed for impeachment, when I was fourteen or so. I have never had a reason to change my opinion.
Iโm not on Facebook so I donโt have that problem. I save my political discussions for here, Wonkette, and Daily Kos, along with the local Listserv I am on that has turned into a hotbed of political resistance (unfortunately four hundred miles away in Omaha, but thatโs local for me).
I have not written anything to the regional paper since the election, since I am not sure that would be safe any more. I have only written my monthly articles for the county paper on flag etiquette each month (I sent my February article with the oddball history of Presidents Day a couple days ago - I could post that here as it is interesting for amateur history buffs.)
