The remark about how if we or our allies are threatened, “we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea” was the stupidest of many stupid remarks Trump made today, and possibly one of the stupidest he has made in his long, stupid, ignorant lifetime. I mean, come on, across the vast spectrum of possible diplomatic and military responses to a threat, real or imagined or most likely simply exaggerated, there is “no choice” except the obliteration of 25 million human beings?
