Covid-19 has arrived in my village. A man who moved here two years ago who lives two blocks from me has died of the disease. He leaves his widow and children (they moved here to be closer to their children).

With the Panhandle Public Health District opening up sign-ups for the vaccine when it arrives here (only a few people in the Panhandle have been vaccinated), I notified the proprietor of the general store and the public library director. That’s pretty much the fastest way to get the sign-up information out here, especially since so few people have Internet service in the township. The library director can help people sign up at the library or over the telephone.
