The Sheriff’s Office has a system that phones every household in the parish when there is a child missing.

A 12-year-old girl went missing yesterday, never arrived home after getting off her school bus.

Just got another call on this system - she’s been located today, thanks to a tip from a caller! It’s nice when things work out!
