As much hyperbolic wingnut rhetoric is spent on the “government running your life”, this is one situation where that’s a sentiment I can agree with. I can make my own decisions regarding what I should eat, thanks.

Fighting against childhood obesity I can understand. I imagine in some cases the parents are 100% to blame for the crap they make their kid eat, and depending on the situation you could argue abuse. That to me is a different fight than trying force everyone to eat healthy all the time.
