wrong…wherever there are people, there is trade…you’d be surprised at how far reaching trade probably was in ancient times
There’s constant reassessment of the extent of reach of trade in favor of “more contact.” And that just the archaeological record. If you consider that in between sedentary civilization there were often pastoralist groups that acted as a part of a flow of goods, services, and ideas, there was probably even more contact.
