The amount of annual money that he’s claiming that the passage of the Affordable Health Care law is going to cost him is less of a financial impact than just one of his regular 30%-off early-week specials he runs every week of the year - not to mention the sheer volume of loss-leader ads he runs in conjunction with various professional sports franchises (NFL, MLB and NBA teams that I can immediately identify). Some of these deals are more than 50% off regular price, which means his regular profit margin must be insanely high to support all of these.

I used to know a guy who owned two pizza places. The margins are ridiculous I mean he made serious money from them. And he was no Papa John’s.

Watching some of the Food Network and Cooking Channel shows, I seen where it’s been said that a bog-standard 12”-14” pepperoni pizza made from scratch in a restaurant costs about two bucks to make.
